Forensic Psychiatrist focused on delivering fair and balanced independent medicolegal reports that serve the interests of justice.

I am Dr. Alan Gallogly, a Forensic Psychiatrist focused on delivering fair and balanced independent medicolegal reports that serve the interests of justice.
My forensic career began at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Psychiatry (Forensicare, Melbourne), a Centre of Excellence in Forensic Psychiatry training. This foundation, alongside my dual background in Irish General Practice and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, provides clinical insight into both physical medicine and Psychiatry that underpins complex medicolegal work.
This dual training provides a strong grounding in physical medicine and general medical conditions, with extensive experience assessing the psychological and psychiatric consequences of physical injuries commonly seen in WorkCover and TAC contexts, including back injuries, head injuries and orthopaedic injuries.
Over the past two decades, I have worked across healthcare systems in Australia, Ireland and the UK in both public and private sectors. This international perspective enhances my approach to Forensic/Medicolegal Psychiatry across Australia, Ireland and the UK.
Every medicolegal matter requires objectivity, fairness and professional integrity. My commitment is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based reports that meet established professional standards.
Yours sincerely,
